Mr Philip, Head of Mechanical Department welcomed the gathering and thanked the management for having arranged such a seminar for the students. He outlined the major topics that were to be handled from the day. He further added that more the level of student interest and interaction the better will be the session.
The team from Maxliv comprising of Mr S. Senthil Kumar, Founder-CEO, Ms S. Rathika, Senior Manager-Mktg, Mr L R Senthil Kumar Project manager, Bangalore, and Mr Uday, entrepreneur animated the gathering of final year and third year students.
The different pathways available for students after their final year study was discussed. Entrepreneurship, Academic pursuits abroad, and employment opportunities were discussed.
If one wants to make sure that companies can find you quickly and easily, it’s vital that you create a digital resume for yourself. But what does “digital resume” mean, exactly? “Digital resumes” really means is that your resume is available online. Employers want to see that your web savvy enough to at least put your resume on the internet, because using a computer is pretty much essential in most companies these days. They also spoke of the need to include animations in the soft copy of resume – in modernized resume building. This would inspire the reader of the resume to notice your skills in a short span of time.
An additional topic included How to Question and learn. The different levels of questions were discussed and explained with examples.
A feedback session and vote of thanks was done the participating students.
